We utilize Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which is a scientific approach to understanding and improving behaviour (e.g., verbal skills, academic skills, social skills) using data and research-based methods.

Our group programs offer children ages 8-17 an opportunity to learn skills related to emotional regulation, understanding the emotions of others, using coping strategies, social interaction, and building relationships.

Our registered Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), provides standarized assessments and individualized treatment in combination with ABA practices to target each child's communication and speech goals.

At SLC, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to thrive independently in the community. We focus on helping teens and young adults develop skills of taking the bus, shopping, cooking, creating resumes, and more.

Whether you are a parent facing challenges at home or a professional seeking assistance, SLC offers personalized behavior consultation. We equip you with the tools needed to effectively support those who matter most to you.

At SLC, we have a BCBA/RBA who offers an enjoyable, interactive, and organized supervision structure, including reviewing task list items, the code of ethics, CPBAO standards, role play scenarios, and mock exam questions.

We are pleased to offer psychotherapy services from a qualifying psychotherapist, under the supervision of a registered psychotherapist. This program utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).

PEERS® is an evidence based program that can be provided in a group format or 1-to-1, for 14-16 weeks to develop social skills such as having a back-and-forth conversation, hang outs, phone calls, texting, appropriate humour, handling bullying, and more.
