Requirements:
- At least two years of experience with learners who have autism or other additional needs (at least one year of experience providing ABA services to learners with autism preferred)
- A certificate in Autism and Behavioural Sciences or equivalent certification (or a certificate that is currently being completed)
- Access to a computer and the internet on a regular basis
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Vulnerable sector screening check

Responsibilities and Duties
Staff members at Sunshine Learning Centre are responsible for tasks like:
• Implement principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) (e.g., reinforcement, prompting, shaping) in a one-to-one or group format to clients of Sunshine Learning Centre.
• Provide clients with support in learning various skills, including but not limited to verbal skills, communication skills, visual performance skills, cooperation skills, imitation skills, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, academic skills, self-help skills, and life skills.
• Implement discrete trial teaching procedures, shaping procedures, natural environment teaching, or chaining programs as expected.
• Implement behaviour change programs as expected.
• Collect behaviour and skill acquisition data and report data within the client’s programming binder.
• Update client binders and programs as needed.
• Assist in completing any skills-based or behaviour-based assessments (e.g., functional analysis, ABLLS assessment, preference assessment).
• Prepare and organize the necessary materials required for running programming.
• Report to your senior therapists/supervisor for questions, clarifications, and requests regarding a client’s programming.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure treatment integrity.
